Troy G. Avera Jr. is a licensed attorney with deep experience in litigation, mediation, and administrative defense. His practice spans business law, healthcare law, and regulatory matters, and he is known for his clear, direct communication and results-driven approach.
Troy holds a J.D. from the American College of Law and an LL.M. in International Financial Transactions from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he focused on anti-money laundering and compliance. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, Riverside, and also completed the CORE credential from Harvard Business School.
Admitted to all Florida state and federal courts, Troy has conducted over 1,000 mediations and is ADR-certified by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). He also serves as an arbitrator recognized by the American Health Lawyers Association and has been trained as a peer review hearing officer by the Florida Society for Healthcare Attorneys.
